Fashion Queers
I want to pause for a minute and talk about queerness and clothing.

I want to talk about how often when folks talk about gender neutral clothing they’re talking about clothing that is traditionally seen as male clothing.
I want to talk about how despite best efforts,…

The first democratically elected government the CIA overthrew was actually Iran’s in 1953 through Operation Ajax. Democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadiq and his National Front Party planned on nationalizing the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (now known as BP). To protect British interests, the CIA and MI6 overthrew Mossadiq, reinstalled the Shah, and set up a secret police known as SAVAK. Until the Iranian Revolution in 1979, the Shah and SAVAK killed over 20,000 Iranians.
True story.
Making the world safe for democracy…

put love on hold: r0bertbrowniejr: Yesterday my mom posted a picture on Facebook of my 5...
Yesterday my mom posted a picture on Facebook of my 5 year old brother Sam wearing a pair of shoes he picked out for his first day of preschool.

She explained to him in the store that they were really made for girls. Sam then told her that he didn’t care and that…
Click and read, click and read. Although perhaps the part where he was most excited they were “made out of Zebras” is off-putting. ;)
All cute awwws aside who has time to worry about gender norms when Sam is so OBVIOUSLY a future zebra poacher?!!!! :)
This is cute and sweet.

Can the hungry go on a hunger strike? Non-violence is a piece of theatre. You need an audience. What can you do when you have no audience? People have the right to resist annihilation.

#TruthFail
Sent out a message earlier in the week about the screening12th and Delaware. If anyone in the RVA area is interested in helping this campaign move forward (involving the screening and educating the public), please fill out your availability in the doodle link below for the week of the 13th. I’d like to organize a general interest meeting so we can plant our feet.

Look forward to meeting you all.

Interested in eradicating sexual injustice? Post or message me to get involved in our screening of the film 12th and Delaware. We also need help organizing educational sessions on campus. Our goal is to educate women (and men) about the truths of Crisis Pregnancy Centers and they way they misrepresent themselves to women experiencing unintended pregnancies. We don’t care whether you’re prochoice or antichoice - we can all agree that misleading women is wrong. #TruthFail at VCU

Let's Get Started, Shall We?
Shut the fuck up and listen
That’s all I’m asking. I’m not expecting you to understand all of this right away, I don’t expect you to change overnight. All I’m saying is, “Shut the fuck up and listen.”
